UNIQUE CREATIONS! - We've recognized a need for this type of product after seeing some of the imported, mass produced home decor signs that have very generic, less than inspiring themes.

We also noticed that many commercial establishments, bars, pubs, restaurants, and hotels decorate with high quality signs to create a interesting and fun environment. We are fortunate to have found a supplier to this industry willing to adapt to the retail market and allow us to bring this unique level of quality and fun to your living and work spaces! Handcrafted for a special look ...
Our Wood Signs are based upon late 19th century designs when use of text oriented pub and trade signs were at their height. While the signs are brand new, they conform in shape and lettering style to that of old time signs. To complete the look, all of the signs are given a hand rubbed stain to "age" the sign appropriately. The basic copy is screen printed, the personalized copy is produced in vinyl and the accents are added by hand. They are then hand-stained and a three dimensional bias relief is added where included in the design. All of the signs come ready to hang with all hardware included and, with the exception of the garden signs, are intended for interior use only.

About Personalization ...
We have a lot of flexibility and do not need to limit the number of characters. Our artisans will adjust the font size to fit ( the dartboard above would have smaller letters if your name is Christopher instead of Berry). When you add an item to the shopping cart, it will have a text line (unlimited) and the description of the item suggests examples of how to enter the information.
The two most critical factors are double/triple checking the personalization instructions and providing a valid e-mail address on the order form in case we need to ask a question about the order.

About the Edge Finish ...
Signs are finished with several types of edge treatments. The "Plain" edge is used in a small number of information type signs and specialty items where a plain, squared, painted edge is most appropriate. The "Routered" edge option on many signs involves rounding the edge of the sign around it's perimeter. These signs have a more contemporary look. The "Framed" edge option includes a wood molding around the perimeter of the sign. The molding on larger signs includes hand painted gilded pin stripes. These signs have a more classic look. The tombstone shaped, large ovals, dartboard backings and framed crescent signs feature steam bent poplar wood moldings with hand painted frames and pin stripes.
